Parrot’s new Zik 3.0 bluetooth headphones really look the business, I can see them becoming quite popular on styling alone. The quilted leather and crocodile skin looks are something different and makes them stand out. They are designed by renowned designer Phillipe Starck, so its not surprising that they are so stylish.
The Zik 3.0 features digital 32-bit audio processing, suggesting the sound quality will be very good. There is a free app that features a 5 band Pro-equaliser so the sound frequencies can be tailored to suit your preferences. This is great as everyone’s ear are different and what sounds good one to person may not sound as great to someone else. There is a virtual 5.1 surround mode and various acoustic modes such as concert hall in a function Parrot are calling Parrot Concert Hall. The Zik 3.0 also included adaptive noise cancelling that adjusts according to the ambient noise levels.
Controls are via Smart Touch Control on the outside of the right ear cup. Smart watch control is also possible via iOS and Android smartwatch apps, these also enable you to set acoustic levels and even check the battery level.
