The latest phone from the Chinese mobile manufacturer.
The new range, focuses on higher specs, and camera’s. The Oppo F1 is clearly aimed at selfie takers.
The key selling point for this phone is its front facing camera. Its an 8-Megapixels affair which lets in 44 percent more light and 30 percent clearer selfies than its rivals who mostly use 5MP camera’s.
Other selfie features include the screen acting like a flash for those low light selfies. The camera can be voice activated too, so you can say cheese and the camera will take the picture.
The standard rear camera boasts 13- megapixels. There is what Oppo calls “anti-shake optimisation.” This chooses the best shot taken from a multiple number of shots after the shutter has been pressed.
The F1 has an aluminium rear cover and chamfered edges giving this mid range phone a premium look. The screen is 5-inches in size and its made with ultra tough gorilla glass 4 so it should be fairly scratch resistant. The screen resolution is fairly mid range with a 720p resolution but at this price point you can’t really ask for more. There is 16GB of internal storage and it’s expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. It also has Dual SIM support. The F1 is available in Gold and Rose Gold.
As for the software it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Oppo’s proprietary ColorOS 2.1 as the default skin.
